Our school leaders have initiated a writing challenge for all learners in the school to reflect on our Agricultural Extravaganza or the Saturday of the Jubilee Celebrations. Sienna H was the first entry received and what an entry it is!
What a stunning day for our Senior School Athletics Day yesterday. A big thank you to Amanda van Rooy for her organisation. It was lovely to have so many families join us for the day. What a positive day indeed!
Kapa Haka group this morning performed at the North Canterbury Kapa Haka Festival. They certainly represented the school incredibly well and the respect (whakaute) they demonstrated to all the other performing schools was outstanding. A big thank you to Mark Bishop and Michelle Orr who lead our Kapa Haka group.
Wow! Day three back in Term Three and these Rōpū Ruru learners are already producing exceptional pieces of holiday highlight writing. Impressive mahi Ms Wells and Rōpu Ruru. I was impressed with the level of detail the tamariki added to their holiday recounts and how confidently they read their recounts to me.

Today was the cross country. We did it because the teachers wanted to know who was the fastest. I was 4th and my friend Alex was 1st. I was puffed and she was too. We were hot and happy that we did it. Some parents came to watch.
