West Eyreton School Agricultural Extravaganza – ‘Spring Special’ – Friday 28th October 2022 – 9am – 2pm

This will be a memorable day bringing our past and present West Eyreton Community together.  We will have visits from agricultural animals in the main arena and a number of demonstrations.  In our hall you will find the natural crafts – flower displays, scarecrows, decorated cakes and many more. In addition, our Friends of the School Committee are planning an array of displays, stalls, bouncy castles, crazy bikes, Agri Kids area and a delicious food alley on the West Eyreton Domain.  A fun family day out! 

School Jubilee Celebrations –  Saturday 29th October 2022 – 10am – 2pm.
The day will begin at 10am with opportunities throughout the day to visit our learning spaces and find out what schooling in the 21st century looks and feels like. At 11am we will officially acknowledge 150 years of schooling at West Eyreton with speeches, a tree planting and the cutting of the cake. This will be followed by photos and a relaxed picnic lunch in which you can reconnect with familiar faces.

Jubilee Book Publication

The Jubilee book is being professionally written by the experienced and well-known local journalist, Tim Fulton.  The official 150th Jubilee book is to be distributed widely during and after the reunion.  West Eyreton School is a rural primary school that has strong links to its rural community; the school services many farms & livestock blocks in its area. The 96 page Jubilee book would promote your business across a wide circle of interest in our school’s community and in the North Canterbury area.

To help with publishing costs we are offering local businesses a chance to advertise in this publication. The committee is currently approaching businesses in North Canterbury.
We are planning one advertisement per page and envisage 96 pages with an initial print run of 250 copies and advertising at a cost of $100.00. 

Advertising specs:Files can be PNGs or JPEGs within the document – and must be provided ‘placement ready’ in digital form to printing specifications:  This includes images above 300dpi, CMYK, 100% Black on text, fonts embedded or converted to paths and cover plus full size adverts – add 5mm bleed (220mm w x 307mm h).
