The students of Rōpū Kea have been creating Papier Mache hand puppets as characters for their play writing. Each of the puppets have been through a planning and design stage before the first of the papier-mâché was applied. The character of the puppet has been developed further by the painting and the sewn costume to cover the hands. There has been much excitement as each of the stages has been completed. The students have discussed the outcomes of each of the stages with their peers.
